For our May tour, we seamlessly blend photography with the rich tapestry of Tuscany's history, delectable cuisine, and exquisite wines.

Our accommodation is a private luxury Villa embedded in Val D’Orcia, Tuscany, where golden vineyards kiss the rolling hills, cypress sentinels stand tall against the azure sky and sun-drenched olive groves whisper secrets to the breeze.

Val d’Orcia is the perfect backdrop for our Photography focused week. Capture the many sights that are so embedded in our imagination with scenes from movies, postcards and calendars; truly a paradise for photographers in one of Italy’s most breathtaking and majestic landscapes. Stroll across the medieval towns that seem to cling to the hillsides like dreams woven into the very fabric of existence and taste the local food and wines crafted by the gentle hands of tradition. This tour is designed to photograph the stunning landmarks and vistas of this picturesque area. Whether you are a seasoned photographer or a novice, prefer to use your phone or have professional equipment or even have a desire to paint instead, your days will be filled with countless opportunities.

The guiding principle for the week is adaptability, allowing us to optimize each day in response to prevailing weather conditions. To ensure unparalleled flexibility, all meals, including breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are provided.

Our host has been visiting Val D’ Orcia for over 20 years with an intimate knowledge of the area and will get you to the best photographic spots at the right time of day. Our photography expert is here every step of the way to ensure that you get the best possible images, have the right camera settings and find the best angle. Back at the villa your expert can assist with editing tips and tricks.

Along with photographing some of the most iconic landscapes in Italy, our journey is enriched with enchanting visits to historic towns like Siena, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza, San Quirico D’Orcia, and Bagno Vignoni. Explore cobblestone streets, indulge in delightful gelato, and embrace the cultural richness woven into every corner of these charming locales that transport you back in time.

This part of Tuscany is also famous for its renowned and prestigious Brunello, di Montalcino, a red wine celebrated for its exceptional quality, rich flavors, and ability to age beautifully. We will explore everything about one of Italy's most distinguished and sought-after red wines with an included wine tasting.
